The call for applications for the dynaMENT Mentoring is now open. The program invites junior scientists of all gender identities who feel addressed by the program title dynaMENT Mentoring for Women in Natural Sciences to hand in their applications before 7 July.
The dynaMENT program is a tailor-made mentoring scheme for female* doctoral researchers, postdocs, young investigator group leaders and junior professors, and offers support for planning a career in the Natural Sciences. Core part of the mentoring are confidential one-to-one sessions with an experienced mentor over a period of 12 months for doctoral researchers and 24 months for more advanced junior scientists. In addition, the program offers trainings and career events in English and helps to build a career network in science. dynaMENT advanced particularly supports the participants in the further planning and development of their careers through scientifically oriented career seminars, individual coaching and networking offers.
Interested parties are invited to join an informational session on the mentoring program on 6 June.
dynaMENT is a joint project by the University of Hamburg’s MIN faculty and the research centre DESY, supported by the two clusters of excellence “CUI: Advanced Imaging of Matter” and “Quantum Universe”. Female* doctoral researchers of European XFEL, Heinrich Pette Institute, Leibniz Institute for Experimental Virology, Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf and Bernhard-Nocht-Institut are also encouraged to apply.
