Quantum Universe Video Competition
What is Dark Matter and how do scientists search for it? Where do the smallest particles get their mass? How does artificial intelligence help in the search for new physical laws? And how can the messages of the Universe be deciphered with the help of mathematics? Five scientists give insights to their research.
The five videos are contributions for the Quantum Universe Video Competition run in May 2021. In a public voting, Sarah Heim's video "Mass matters. The Higgs boson and the smallest particles" and Murad Alims video on "How quantum geometry helps us in deciphering the messages of the Universe" turned out to be the public's favorite ones. Both scientists received a prize in an online award ceremony at the Quantum Universe Day in June 2021.
