Dealing with Boundary Violations in Working Life
When: Tue, 14.06.2022 9:00 AM until 4:30 PM
Where: Mittelweg 177, 20148 Hamburg, N0065
According to representative surveys, boundary violations, such as everyday sexism or sexual harassment, are encountered by about one in two women or FLINT persons in everyday life. Such incidents can occur both in private as well as in working life. How can these experiences be classified? How can you deal with such situations as a person affected or as an observer/bystander?
In this online workshop we would like to explore these and similar questions. We will work hands-on with situations, practise quick-witted replies, develop strategies for dealing with violations and shed light on support structures within and outside the University of Hamburg.
This workshop is open to employees of the Universität Hamburg. As part of the promotion of women in the sense of the HmbGleiG, it is only open to women and FLINT persons.
You can find the registration form here.
Trainer: Dr. Sabine Blackmore, Blackmore Coaching
Depending on coronavirus rules and regulations, the workshop will be held either in person or online. We will provide all details about the venue in due time.
